Default backup location

Hi all,

I've setup my Zimbra based on a 2 partition setup, one 20g and e 80g. I've altered the location of the store and index to the larger partition and the mailboxes are created there as expected. What I would also like to do however is the move the backup folder to the larger partition (it's eating up the 20g at the moment). I don't see a option for in it in the ui, and a search on this forum also didn't turn op something. Anyone know how this can be done? (4.5.5 zimbra network eval an a opensuse 10 b.t.w.).

Backup happens through cron.
You can change the parameters there (but they'll get deleted on next upgrade).

Default followup

Hi Klug,

I've found a zimbra script in /var/spool/tabs but the file is filled with warnings about not to edit it, furthermore, in the backup section of the script there is no mention of the backup location to be used, the script simply starts bin/zmbackup with a few options. Looking at the cron scripts in /etc/ like cron.daily I don't see any zimbra stuff... Do you have a pointer for me where to look (better)?

Question default location for backup

how about changing the default location for the backup ?
i set up zimbra NE to make backups using "zmschedulebackup -D" (the default is ok for what we need) .
is there a way to tell zimbra where to save this backups by default...not specifying every time the location with the -t option for zmbackup command .
thanks
