    Default Switching from AM/PM to 24 hour clock?

    How can I switch from using AM/PM to 24 hour clock, I can't find any option to make this switch?

    Regards,

    Hello, welcome.

    This question was asked already and the answer is in the forum.
    You have to changed things in the language files.

    Well, the only thing I found was this..:

    French Calendar time in 24h format

    Is this the only way? Shouldn't this be a configure option under preferences?

    Also, I tried to follow the suggestions in the link and changed what I thought would need to be changed but nothing was changed in the webapp...

    Here is the lines I have changed..:

    Code:
    # formats for calendar use
    formatCalDate = EEE, d MMM
    formatCalDateLong = EEEE, d MMMM
    formatCalDateFull = EEEE, d MMMM, yyyy
    # {0} is the hour number, 0-24; {1} is a date object with the same hour
    formatCalHour = {0,choice,0#Midnight|1#{1,time,HH:mm}|12#Noon|13#{1,time,HH:mm}|24#Midnight}
    formatCalDay = d.M
    formatCalMonth = MMMM yyyy

    # additional formats for date formatting
    formatDateMediumNoYear = dd MMM

    # date parsing information
    dateParsing2DigitStartYear = 1936
    Shouldn't this work or am I missing something? (and yes, I have restartet Tomcat....)

    Yes, it's the correct and currently only way to achieve your goal.

    You have to do the change in each language file you're using.
    Then restart tomcat (as you did) and force-reload the pages in your browser (and/or clear cache).

    Ok, I had to force a reload of the page, and then it changed...

    But there is another clock at the bottom left corner, how do I change format for this clock? Or how do I change the format for all clocks?
