Unhappy Mail not going into mailbox

I have a user who called and told me they stopped receiving mail yesterday around 14:30. I checked my external MTA logs and /var/log/maillog and see mail being delivered even now. Here's my maillog from a test message I sent:

    Jun 12 08:15:33 zim1 postfix/cleanup[18172]: A53F31570705: message-id=<da2bf8110706120633h2381b990j632e279e56e9a8b9@m ail.gmail.com>
    Jun 12 08:15:33 zim1 postfix/qmgr[5384]: A53F31570705: from=<me@gmail.com>, size=2162, nrcpt=1 (queue active)
    Jun 12 08:15:33 zim1 postfix/smtpd[18170]: disconnect from exprod5mx117.postini.com[64.18.0.89]
    Jun 12 08:15:33 zim1 postfix/smtpd[16850]: connect from localhost.localdomain[127.0.0.1]
    Jun 12 08:15:33 zim1 postfix/smtpd[16850]: 7CC601570702: client=localhost.localdomain[127.0.0.1]
    Jun 12 08:15:33 zim1 postfix/cleanup[17589]: 7CC601570702: message-id=<da2bf8110706120633h2381b990j632e279e56e9a8b9@m ail.gmail.com>
    Jun 12 08:15:33 zim1 postfix/qmgr[5384]: 7CC601570702: from=<me@gmail.com>, size=2776, nrcpt=1 (queue active)
    Jun 12 08:15:33 zim1 postfix/smtpd[16850]: disconnect from localhost.localdomain[127.0.0.1]
    Jun 12 08:15:33 zim1 postfix/smtp[17970]: A53F31570705: to=<user@ripplecentral.com>, relay=127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1], delay=1, status=sent (250 2.6.0 Ok, id=03326-01, from MTA([127.0.0.1]:10025): 250 Ok: queued as 7CC601570702)
    Jun 12 08:15:33 zim1 postfix/qmgr[5384]: A53F31570705: removed
    Jun 12 08:15:33 zim1 postfix/lmtp[16851]: 7CC601570702: to=<user@ripplecentral.com>, relay=zim1.mxtoolbox.com[208.123.79.36], delay=0, status=sent (250 2.1.5 OK)
    Jun 12 08:15:33 zim1 postfix/qmgr[5384]: 7CC601570702: removed
However when I go to check /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log I find that `[zimbra@zim1 log]$ grep "user@ripplecentral.com" mailbox.log | grep -i lmtp` yields no results. In fact the last result matches the last message in the inbox.

    2007-06-11 14:44:42,581 INFO [LmtpServer-2306] [name=user@ripplecentral.com;] mailbox - Added message id=36527 digest=X+S6cfUEFDBOauDu2BlpEDUklqY= mailbox=24 rcpt=user@ripplecentral.com
So I have mail getting to Postfix but not being put in to the mailbox even though I have a maillog that shows the LMTP delievery. No other users on this server are being effected ( that I know of anyway ). Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The obvious question for me is: has he enabled/added any filters that delete mail?

[EDIT]I guess there's nothing in the deferred queue for this user?

    Phoenix,

You were absolutely correct, there was a filter in place that the user forgot about making. He inverted the matching so instead of deleting all mail except the matches, he was deleting everything that didn't match. Ooops.

This was in place for 18 hours. Is there any way to replay the redo logs without the filter in place to recover those messages?

    It happens occasionally.

Not sure about that, I think that they're probably gone. I'll keep your support case open and check this for you.
