Default Zimbra C.S. LDAP and Drupal LDAP Authentication

I currently have a Zimbra Collaboration Suite 4.5.4 rPath installation set up. I am looking to create something of a Single Sign-On environment using authentication from the ZCS ldap set up. Specifically, for my first test, I am looking to set up Drupal to perform ldap authentication from ZCS.

However, I will admit a very real level of ignorance when it comes to this sort of configuration. If anyone can point me to some good resources on Zimbra ldap mappings or, better yet, someone who has done it can provide a walkthrough, I would very much be in your debt.

Thanks,
Mike

What you can do is get the Samba/LDAP extension from our gallery, set that up, the setup Drupal to auth against LDAP.

LDAP integration | drupal.org

Get or contribute Zimlets, UI themes, and languages in the Zimbra Gallery

It isn't useful adding your request to a thread that's three years old, what exactly are you trying to do?

Then you already have the extensions on your install of Zimbra, you'd have found this if you had searched the forums. Go to the wiki and search for the word 'posix'.

That depends if you want to act as a Domain Controller for your LAN. If not you can Authenticate against the Zimbra serer, read the Admin Guide and further details in the forums and wiki if you search.

The posix admin extension, seems like it allow you to add window or linux account..

If yes, then this is not what i am planning to do..

Objective:

Using Zimbra as auth. for drupal login.

For example:

Drupal login (Front page) ask for user name and password

I want to use the same login name and password as zimbra webmail login account
User name = email address
Password = zimbra login password
