Question Easy Postfix -> Zimbra Question

Where in the postfix config files does it configure postfix to send mail via lmtp to the zimbra mail store? I have 2 machines, 1 MTA and 1 Everything else. I need to articulate in detail to others how and where mail is received by postfix and sent to the Zimbra box. I see how it is interacting with amavisd but I don't see how (once it gets back from amavisd) it gets sent via LMTP to the Zimbra box.

    thanks

    Doug

Postfix delivers to the zimbraMailTransport which will have a host/ip of the zimbra LMTP interface.

    [zimbra@mail ~]$ zmprov ga kevinh| grep lmtp
    zimbraMailTransport: lmtp:example.com:7025

I am trying to see where this information exists on the MTA box. I grepped for lmtp in the postfix/conf directory but could not see where any configuration is in the main/master files. I see an lmtp server line in the master.cf but it does not have any information about where it is sending mail to.

I guess what I am expecting to see is a config file entry that has this value. I am sure it is in LDAP but at some point it needs to be in a config file (yes?) or does postfix lookup this value directly from LDAP? If so how/where

    thanks again

I see it now. The config files are in /opt/zimbra/conf. I had no clue that postfix could speak ldap directly.
