It does, i managed to make that work. Now i have these fields filled and when i go in the zimlets to add users or groups, my domain show up. But when i confirm for adding a group for whatever samba or posix, i get an error like the one i posted before.

Looks like the schema was loaded because now i can see my domain in the administration interface. But i'm still getting these kinds of errors when i'm trying to create a posix group :

Code:
[LDAP: error code 65 - object class 'sambaGroupMapping' requires attribute 'sambaSID']
By my guess, looks like the schema is loaded but the directory wasn't modified according to the schema. If i remember correctly samba was supposed to make the entries into the directory, after restarting the service, no luck and no word about it in the logs.
I am having the same issue. I finally got samba to connect to LDAP just to have another problem. Why would it want me to enter a sambaSID? Shouldn't that be an auto number type deal? If not then why not and what should I put there?

Thanks.

Did you go to the "Samba Group" tab and select your domain that way? That's what I had to do.
