Default Remove URL from page title

Is there a way to remove the url from the page title?

Ex. Currently the page title shows: https://mail.server.com?skin=customskin - Zimbra: Inbox (7)

I would like the page title to show: Zimbra: Inbox (7)

Does anyone have any idea where to change this? I tried modifying the Dwt.setTitle function to replace everything in the incoming text. This worked in that I can manipulate the title from the end of the server name on. However, I can not remove the url.

Ideas?

Thank you,
Casey

What OS and browser are you using? I just looked at both FF 2.0 on Linux and IE7 under WinXP and neither shows the URL in the title bar. Both of them show "Zimbra: Inbox" followed by the browser title.

Firefox 2 and IE 6. IE 7 does not have the url in the title; however, it has the security bar that shows the url and a lock.

I'm not sure on this one. I've since tried on both FF 2.0 on Windows and IE6 on Windows 2000, and I've still yet to see the behavior you described.

Soxfan,

I notice that CMILFO has https in the address. Would this be making a difference ? Could it be the server which is hosting his Zimbra mail causing it to display the URL ?

Just a thought :-)

I'm working here with Firefox 2.0.0.3 and Netscape 8.1.3 and neither show the URL in the title bar.

Ah, a bit more on that... as I open a browser it briefly shows the URL...

http://172.16.15.9/ - Mozilla Firefox

This quickly changes to

PT Intanet - Mozilla Firefox

Presumably once the browser has read the page title or obtained the hostname?
