I'm not sure if this is even possible... I'm not a postfix guy, but I know it's possible elsewhere...

I would like to modify the subject line of an email going to a certain distribution list. IE: mail to beer@domain.com appends [BEER] to the subject line so it looks like this:

To: beer@domain.com
Subject: [BEER] Subject

Someone else might chime in, but I think this is a good enhancement request.
You should file one in bugzilla.zimbra.com and then get ppl to vote for it!

When you make it-and even for this thread:

Change title to 'Subject line rewrites" or "Subject line auto-inserts"

Header's refer to the usually unseen content-(like you see when you show the original message).

I know what you mean though-I/we have a separate edge mta, it runs an excellent distribution list software that does exactly that
"[name] subject content" whenever you send mail through it, and it archives them nicely, so all the members of the list can browse email's later-even if it's no longer in their mail boxes.

random thought, probably should make another thread/bug...a mail list manager for zimbra...so people can self subscribe or unsubscribe simply by sending either of those as subject lines/body content to the list.
