    Default connection refused

    Hello,

I've got a strange problem this morning with my zimbra server. All messages are deferred and this is what i've got in the /var/log/zimbra.log file :

    Code:
    Apr 30 09:19:32 localhost postfix/qmgr[6265]: 1F7A83FE98: to=<xxxxx@xx.org>, orig_to=<xxxxxxx@xx.org>, relay=none, delay=0, status=deferred (delivery temporarily suspended: connect to zimbra.xxx.xxx[192.168.xx.xx]: Connection refused)
I try to disable and then re-enable the AV/AS system but no change...

    zmcontrol status return :
    antispam Running
    antivirus Running
    ldap Running
    logger Running
    mailbox Running
    mta Running
    snmp Running
    spell Running

    Any suggestions ?

    Thanks in advance.

    Loïc

    Hello, bienvenue.

First of all, which version of Zimbra are you running ?

Did you stop/start them or enable/disable them through the adminUI ?

    Thanks for your quick answer.

the running version is 4.5.0 GA 612 Debian 3.1.

For the AV/AS, I enabled/disabled them through the adminUI.

I upgraded to 4.5.4 but nothing has changed

I don't know what to do now ... except slapping my head on a wall.

Can you send mails from your Zimbra server or is it just for incoming mails ?

Did you change the "Réseaux acceptés" (allowed networks) parameter lately ?

I can send emails to the outside world, but it fails to redistribute to Mailbox. Is that clear ?

And i've changed nothing in the configuration.

    Pas du tout.

You can send mail to other servers but not to users on the same server.
And you can not receive mails from other servers either.

Is is what is happening ?

All mails destinated to users on my zimbra server are queued as deferred.

Other mails sending by my user to other servers (outside world) are well delivered.

    Is that better ?

Sorry for my bad english !

bonjour. run /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmfixperms, and then reindex each mailbox you are having problems with. this is a debian bug, unfortunately. make sure your kernel is up to date, but it's unpredictable.

    Thanks for your help.
I ran zmfixperms and reindex some of the accounts that have problem but I still got the connection refused log and no mails are distributed to mailbox....

I 'm not sure what to do with zmfixperms... it has to be run as root and that's all ? or do I need to use it with arguments ?

All my 85 user accounts have the problem... Is there a way to redindex all of them by command line ? or do I need to do it through the adminUI one by one ?

    FYI, kernel version is 2.6.16...

I really don't know what to do next... the deferred queue is now up to 2000 messages !
