Default Domain Aliases

Hi. Is it currently possible to setup domain aliases in Zimbra (M2 on FC3)? What I mean:

With a standard Postfix installation I can have a main domain (foo.com) and then point any number of shadow / alias domains at it (foobar.com, whatever.com) so that my address: user@foo.com will recieve email for user@foo.com, user@foobar.com and user@whatever.com.

Thanks for this great product!

Will

Default forwarding domain

zmprov cd foobar.com zimbraDomainType alias
zmprov md foobar.com zimbraMailCatchAllAddress @foobar.com zimbraMailCatchAllForwardingAddress @foo.com

This will forward user@foobar.com -> user@foo.com

Default Thanks!

Thank you, that works wonderfuly. Out of curiosity, is that trick covered in any of the documentation? If so, where? (Just wondering if I overlooked it). Thanks again for the support and the wonderful product.

Default yup

I think it's in there somewhere, though it may be listed under the attribute, rather than the task, which would make it hard to find

This works great. Still in Version 6 - would be something that I would like to see in the GUI or at least if the zmprov must be used - have a listing SOMEWHERE associated with the target domain so that quick reference can be made.

If you wish to see any features added to Zimbra you should file an RFE in bugzilla so it will get to the attention of the developers.

How about just getting the features that are *already* there available to the masses without all the Voodoo? So many features require extensive research followed by obscure command line use. We're not in the '80s anymore... most features should be available via the admin GUI by default.

Then the same answer applies, if you wish to see additional features in Zimbra then file an RFE entry in bugzilla. Post comments here will have no effect on the development of the product, development requests should go in the correct place.
