    Default jpegPhoto in addressbook

Carleton populates our internal LDAP server with jpegPhoto (the actual jpeg data, as binary; not my decision, but surprisingly, it works at Carleton's scale). Our legacy webmail pops up pictures on mouseover of carleton.edu email addresses, see attached.

It's not critical, but it would be "nice" if we could...

    a) Do the same in Zimbra Web Client. Since the addressbook functionality is hard-coded and there's already another zimlet controlling what happens on mouseover/on click of email addresses, it's not obvious how we'd even start.

    b) Make the jpegPhoto attribute available as "contact photo" in Outlook. I found zimbraGalLdapAttrMap, but am not sure what to put on RHS, or if this is really extensible at all.

I don't see an enhancement for this in the bugzilla.
Please file it. We're pretty much in a code freeze for 5.0, so it's gonna be a while.

    OK, entered as Bug #16197.

I suspect that it might be possible to make at least passthrough of existing thumbNailPhoto/jpegPhoto attributes to Outlook+ZCO clients work without any server-side changes. Just need to figure out how.
