Default Sub-domain administrators

Hello...

Is it possible for adminstrators to control just a subset of a domain, say a group of accounts in a domain but not other accounts in the same domain?

Thx,
D.

Yes-
We call them domain level admins.
The title is a little misleading, as we can count mail.domain.com and domain.com as different domains. . .even though one of them a sub to the other.

More information can be found in the documentation:

Sure that's what he wanted?

Do you mean a Domain Administrator? I think this one can control all Accounts in the Domain?!

It's a corporate mail server. We have several locations, all on the same "domain": mailhost.mycompany.com. I'd like location managers to be able to edit/delete only users at their location.

Does that make any sense?

Thx,
D.

That's exactly I'm looking too!!! I have several domains and I have DIFFERENT administrator for EACH domain...How could I do it in ZImbra?

For example:

admin@mydomain.com

Could control ONLY @mydomain.com, and

admin@otherdomain.com

Could control ONLY @otherdomain.com...

I tried with different options using ZimbraAdmin, but I couldn't. Is this possible?

Thanks.

Yes, it's possible if you have the Network Edition.
