Hi lostknight,
yes, I had used imapsync to sync this box from qmail to Zimbra. do you have any ways to delete them (INBOX.Sent, ...) from my mailbox?
Thanks & Best Regards,
You can drag them to other locations or drag them to the Trash, if you wish.
Please search the wiki and forums on how to use imapsync to migrate from your old mail server's (Courier IMAP?) odd mailbox hierarchy. Other people have hit the same issue...
Hi DKarp,
I moved them to other locations and also moved them to the Trash. But on my Zimbra Web Mail still appears this folders (INBOX.Sent, ...). After I had moved or delete, they appeared again. Do you have any ways to delete forever.
Many thanks and Best regards,
I see this when someone uses an external IMAP client-which auto creates those folders.
let's say your client is thunderbird: (why all the open/close below? Simple: I want it to start a fresh sync.)
1. open thunderbird
2. uncheck all folder subscriptions (right click account header-subscribe OR click on account header and in the advanced features> manage folder subscriptions from that options window that fills the screen)
3. close thunderbird
4. open zcs web client & delete unwanted folders
5. open thunderbird
6. subscribe to all the folders you want
7. then go to account options> copies & folders >select/match up the proper folders you want for sent, drafts, junk, trash, & templates
8. close thunderbird
9. open thunderbird
10. refresh/reopen zcs-shouldn't make the unwanted folders anymore
