Default share gal in different domains.

I have 4 different domains created on zimbra and I want everyone to be able to see each other's gal. They are only able to see the gal that is of their domain. Is there a way to show all domains gals to each other?

I think you want something like:

Code:
zmprov mcf zimbraGalInternalSearchBase ROOT
which will configure the search base for GAL searches to be ROOT of the tree.

Exclamation

Will this work, if you GAL uses an external LDAP for the search ?

How about a primary external LDAP with the other minor domains on the internal GAL ?

Sorry to thru such a curve ball, but I'll face this issue in the coming weeks.

Thanks

as the name implies, this setting is only for internal gal searches. I can't recall if you can set zimbraGalLdapSearchBase to ROOT or not as well. If not, it is a bug.

This worked for me. I have two zimbra servers one in CA and one in CO using LDAP replication of the CA server. Each location has it's own domain and now I can see all users from each location.

I was originally syncing the GALS by setting the GAL to both internal and external search but I had a hard time keeping hidden accounts hidden from the external search.
