Default Backing Up Open Source Edition

Has anyone had experience backing up their data when using the Open Source version of Zimbra? I just installed it this past weekend and would like to back the mail/db/etc. to a tar file for archiving to tape or disk. Any ideas? (besides purchase the consumer edition)

Thanks

The quickest, cleanest and easiest to recover way to do it is simply to use LVM. Shut Zimbra down, snapshot the disk, bring zimbra back up, and then backup the snapshot.
