Question zmtrainsa problems

Hi,
I just upgraded to the latest version because the zmtrainsa was not working.

Now I try to run it manually to process the nearly 500 email in the spam training folder and still does not work.
I have to say that I am in mod_jk (ports 7080 and 7443).
This is what I get:

[zimbra@myserver root]$ zmtrainsa

Anybody could help?
I cannot eliminate spam if zimbra does not learn...
Thanks in advance

What have you done to try and resolve the problem? Have you searched the forums or wiki for similar problems of using mod_jk or setting it up correctly? Have you searched bugzilla to see if there's any know problems with mod_jk?

I had this problem before. I did not notice anything until I realized that when training spam account was actually not trained and I was getting the same spam over and over.

I searched in forums wiki and so, and looked like the solution was to upgrade from my 4.5 to the latest. There was a problem with permissions.
Anyway, i decided to go ahead and upgrade. It is a pain because I have to customize everything every time in order to make it work on mod_jk every time I upgrade.... I do follow the wiki for that, but for my surprise the problem is still there. My spam account has over 500 emails and the zmtrainsa does not work...
In post I pasted the results when I run zmtransa manualy.

Let's hope that somebody has an answer...
A a matter of fact it would be nice to have the option of mod_jk when installing... thinks like "documents" and calendar links working ...

Thanks for your answer Bill. If you have an idea of where I should look for the answer I would appreciate it.

I'm afraid I don't know how to help you with mod_jk but if you search the forums for the words 'port' & '7080' you'll find some threads that might help you. I don't think it's a problem with zmtrainsa but this error seeme to give a clue:

Code:
Exception in thread "main" com.zimbra.soap.SoapFaultException: system failure: Request not allowed on port 7080

Thanks Bill.
It looks like I'm the only one posting to the forum regarding mod_jk issues... I guess everybody else is happy installing zimbra out of the box, but if you have only one internet connection and a web server, mod_jk is the way to go...

I don't see why the request is not allowed on port 7080 when running it manually. The only files you change for mod_jk are in the tomcat conf:
server.xml
server.xml.in
service.web.xml.in
and:
webapps/service/WEB-INF/web.xml
webapps/service/WEB-INF/web.xml

and for the admin:
/webapps/zimbraAdmin/WEB-INF/web.xml
/conf/zimbraAdmin.web.xml.in
/webapps/service/WEB-INF/web.xml
/conf/service.web.xml.in

then:
/conf/zimbraAdmin.web.xml.in
/conf/service.web.xml.in
/conf/zimbra.web.xml.in

Basicaly by adding ports 80 and 443 everytime a port is required...

If somebody might have an idea of what it the relation with zmtrainsa, I would really appreciate it. As you can imagine, if zimbra does not learn what its spam it becomes very annoying.
Thanks

Bill,
I have been looking and I don't see anything related in the forums...
Why do you think that 7080 is not allowed?
It is a zimbra port... Do you have any clue of where I have to search?
It is really anoying to have the same spam over and over...

Thanks
