    Default Max concurrent connections

So I get this message in the reports every day:

Connection concurrency limit exceeded: 51 from mail.domain.com[192.168.32.16] for service smtp : 52 Time(s)

I know why, and I am perfectly fine with that, but is there any way I can up this limit? I have tried messing around with the "MTA Trusted Networks:" setting but have yet to find the right one. What should this be listed at to allow unlimited connections from my forwarding mail server?

Or alternately, what can I do to bump this threshold up? Like to 1000?

    Thanks,
    Nutz

    Default

    Bump

    Anybody?

This causes a lot of backup on my primary mail server currently (since we are still working on migrating our zm users just have a .forward on the primary)

    try
    Code:
su - zimbra -c zmprov mcf zimbraLmtpNumThreads "250"
Note that 250 can be any number of smtp connections you need.

    I have the same error
    Connection concurrency limit exceeded: 51 from relay.domain.tdl [10.99.50.5] for service smtp : 4 Time(s)

Is 51 an error number or the number of concurrent connections?

I checked my current setting before changing and got an un-expected answer

zmprov gs mail-01.domain.tdl | grep zimbraLmtpNumThreads
    zimbraLmtpNumThreads: 20

If it is an error code this may be the correct value to change, if it is a count I doubt it allows 150% over run.

51 is the number of concurrent connections, not an error code. This number will fluctuate from 0 to 52-53 depending on how many messages are being sent at any given time.

Default is 50, I think I bumped mine up to like 1000. The point is to avoid major floods, but since everything I was getting was coming from my other MTA, I was fine with it.

    Thank you,
    Nutz
