I got about 40000 users and 1.5 million incoming mail per day. I am not sure Zimbra is designed to deal with that pressure.

Also admin UI does NOT disable av/as, I don't know why. I disable it, restart zimbra and amavisd is still running and taking lotsa CPU

Sure it is. We have many deployments far more than that. . and many more coming. I can think of 2 deployments that are in the millions.

That bug description only proves my point while not giving any practical advise. It says exactly what observed, which mean that in order for the mail to get delivered to zimbra store one HAS to run as/av. Funny

    Thanks.
    Hi,

Today morning i also get the same error message. My users are not able to send and receive mails. I tried to resolve the same but not getting success. zmcontrol status saws all services is running. but still users are not able to receive mails. after restarting my mail server its working fine but I want to know what was the problem in zimbra mail server?

The answer to this thread was the fact that amavisd was down/disabled so unless you have disabled amavisd or it's not running you don't have the same problem, you should also not add a post to a thread that's over two years old.

You've also not provided any information about the exact problem nor any information from your log files, start a new thread and give complete and exact details of the problem (log files entries, whether it's happend before or since etc. etc.) plus details of what you've tried to resolve it.
    Regards
