install mysql + virus scanner on a separate virutal machine (DomU of XEN)

we are wondering if it could be an advantage(security and performance) to install mysql and the virus-scanner on a separate virtual machine of XEN (DomU).

we would highly appreciate a feedback, because we suggested a similar configuration
to one of our customers (Dom0 = Debian, DomU = Debian + Zimbra) ?
