4.53: tomcat is not running

I changed the port back to 80, now users can log in.

I've had it for today, thanks again for the help.

I have the same problem with tomcat not running except I did nothing with the proxy. I went theourhg the self signed cert process but am still running in http mode for tomcat. I can start zimbra, stop zimbra but when I check status all I get is this.

antispam Running
antivirus Running
ldap Running
logger Running
mailbox Stopped
tomcat is not running
mta Running
snmp Running
spell Running

Server has been down for hours and I have a support ticket in, but I thought I would ask the community.

tail -100 /var/log/zimbra.log
tail -100 /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log

Try this
su - zimbra
zmcontrol stop
su - root
ps auxx | grep zimbra
(kill any left over processes)
rm -rf /opt/zimbra/log/zmtomcatmgr.pid
su -zimbra
zmcontrol start

tail -100 /var/log/zimbra.log
post that.
