Yes, cache was cleared by me prior to the error occurring because I know it's the first thing you guys ask. :-)

And yes, it's IE6.

I've had two reports of this same error over the last two days. Running Zimbra 4.5.3 GA on CentOS (RHEL). Both users running IE6, both using "Compose in new window" setting. Logging off of Zimbra and clearing IE's cache seems to fix the problem; at least it did in these two cases. Rather annoying bug though. I'm going to try to re-open the bug.

Can you please chime in on this, and provide our QA team with repo steps, logs, and screenshots?

Default -2147418094 nightmare

it happens in ie when compose in a new window is "on" (set this off in the COS)
we had serious issues with this but 4.51 was a big improvement

it doesn't happen in ff.

I've been using FF2.0 for a while with "Compose in new Window" enabled and I have yet to see this error message. Other users in our office who also have "Compose in new Window" enabled and use IE6 are getting the error quite frequently, so I'd have to concur it's an IE6 error only. Not sure about IE7.

It still happens in IE7 for sure. We have a user with this error. She has compose in a new window enabled and she gets the -2147418094 error "at random"(in her words).

Any news on this bug, when it might be fixed or if it is?
