Default Internet Explorer 6 with Zimbra UI

After trying (and failing) to use the Zimbra Web Inferface with these Windows 98 PCs, I am out of ideas. I have put security down to its lowest level and it still fails. When I go to http://www.evolutionconsultancy.com/zimbra/, I get the silver background but no login box.

At the bottom left hand corner of the page, it says 'Done, but with errors on page'. I have opened this up and the errors I get are:

Line: 255
Error: Object doesn't support this property of method

Line: 1432
Error: 'ZmMsg' is undefined

Line: 4896
Error: 'i18nMsg's is undefined

Any ideas? Has anyone had any success with IE and Zimbra?

Unhappy

I can access Zimbra Admin on Port 7071 and do everything with SSL. However, I can't access the Web Interface on Port 7070 although it is opened on my NAT firewall. What could this be? Do I need another port open to the internet for it to work.

On Port 80 on /zimbra/, I just get the silver background but on Port 7070, I just get 'Page Can Not Be Displayed'

Any ideas?

How is TLS related? On my home machine with IE6, it works fine. Just the machine at school with IE6 on Windows 98 seems to have the problem but will try.

Thanks

Came across the same error when using IE6 through the MS Internet Security & Acceleration Server 2000. The work around for me was to ensure that in IE the "Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connection" was enabled in the Tools->Internet Options->Advanced settings.

You could try a tool like Fiddler to see where its getting stuck.

None of these "tricks" work for me. There are a few users encountering this problem with the same version of IE on XP (6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519) but others are not. It seems to happen when Zimlets are loading (after login but before loading bar completes). So, I undeployed some of the Zimlets not in common with the unaffected users to no avail...

Any more thoughts?

Are you running the GA or 3.0.1 version? If not you should upgrade first. Try clearing the cache as well. Have you tried on Firefox? Does it work there?
