    Default Upgrading zimbra to 4.5.2

    Hi,

We are running Zimbra network edition 4.0.1 and downloaded the latest version 4.5.2 and ready to upgrade. I could not find any documentation to upgrade. But I think upgrading zimbra is like fresh installation. Is that correct?

Before doing that I will take my backup. Any other suggestions for a safe upgrade plese?

    Regards

Just make sure you have a backup.

When you run the script (./install.sh) make sure you tell it you want to upgrade.

We'll be here if you need any assistance.

    Default user accounts during upgrade

Thank you very much for your quick response.

One more question before I start upgrading. Currently I have 15 user accounts running now. What will happen to these accounts when I upgrade? Do I need to say that their accounts are going to be disabled for some time?

During the upgrade your server will be offline for a period of time. For 15 users, I would give yourself between 30-60 minutes.

Make the appropriate backups and give it a run...

    Thank you once again.

The upgradation went well with no problems.

Will work on the new feature list
