Welcome to the forums.

You need to run 'zmcontrol -v' as the zimbra user, that will list the version.

It will tell you to run as root if you try running it as the zimbra user, so I guess the answer is root.

I know this thread has been idle for a while, but I am wondering how the public can see the exact version? We're running ZCS NE 5.0 and have been through two upgrades, to 5.0.2, and 5.0.4. I was expecting the version file in the help files (search for "version" to see what I mean) to be updated with the minor release, but it only lists the top level, and the same original date. Is there another way for the public to see the version of ZCS? Thanks....Gerrit (Guelph, Ontario, Canada)
