Default canonical map for recipients

Hello,

I wanted to rewrite mail adresses (in the To: field) sent to our zimbra accounts using the form uid@domain in the classic form : givenName.lastname@domain

I altered zmmta.cf in order to obtain this in /opt/zimbra/postfix/conf/main.cf :
Code:
recipient_canonical_maps = ldap:/opt/zimbra/conf/ldap-scm.cf

I'm surprised to see it does not work, mails sent to uid@domain appear with uid@domain in the "To:" field of the zimbra web interface.

It's not a great pb but if someone had a solution, it would be welcome.

The canonical address can be set in the Admin UI for the users account.

Well, it's already done (via zmprov, attribute zimbraMailCanonicalAddress).

Mail sent from zimbra get their "From:" field translated according to this attribute.
However, mails received by zimbra do not get their "To:" field translated on the same way.

Seems strange regarding the change I applied on postfix's configuration.

Regards,
Artturi
