    Question how to change postmaster@ aliases

    can someone help me i want to change the default postmaster@domain.com to e.g alerts@domain.com, i want to forward these emails but the postmaster@ emails are being blocked. any help thanks

    You should always give the version of ZCS that's in use, post the output of the following command:

    There is no such default email address created in Zimbra.

    I don't understand what you mean by this comment. Why don't you describe the exact steps in detail that you've taken in your attempt to make these changes.

    i am trying to forward email alerts using this method.

    From Zimbra Webmail

    Preferences > Mail > Receiving Messages > Send a notification message to: (check-box)

    when the email alerts are forwarded the show up like this

    New message received at user1@domain.com.
    Sender: user <user2@domain.com>
    Subject: user 2 subject

    The message header shows like this showing email from postmaster@domain.com which i would like to change the name "postmaster" to something else because where i want to forward the email they block "postmaster" emails.
