Default users can't reply to emails through web interface

I have finally gotten my zimbra server up and running but I notice two things broke which I can't figure out.

When any user logs in through the web interface three buttons don't work. These are reply to message, reply to all and forward inline. I thought these were working when I initially setup up my server but I look now and NOTHING happens when the buttons are pressed. I have tried this through various accounts and it's all the same.

any tips would help.
