    Post from 4.0.2 to 4.5.1

    Hi
Yesterday migrated from OS 4.0.2 to 4.5.1
First of all i upgraded my Suse10.0 (kernel time zone patch)
With Suse 10.0 upgraded i passed to Zimbra OS 4.5.1
    Yesterday all was good
but this morning ZCS didn't reply
i scan for 443 port but there was no response
    instead port 7071 was good
so i use tomcat status but i had not reply
tomcat stop i had no reply
tomcat start i had no reply
I had a lot of messages deferred
    so zmcontrol stop
wait a moment and verify with ps -U zimbra than zmcontrol start
    All was ok!!
So i remembered that i increased the tmpfs partition from 150 to 300 Mb in my /etc/fstab and i had not any other deferred messages
So i went in /etc/fstab but my tmpfs row has been commented
    #/dev/shm /opt/zimbra/amavisd-new-2.4.1/tmp tmpfs defaults,users,size=300m,mode=777 0 0

Now i find in zimbra forum Bug 13607 and Bug 12916 but i don't understand what exactly i have to do?
    In my /opt/zimbra i find amavisd-new-2.4.3 too

    Can i put?
    /dev/shm /opt/zimbra/amavisd-new-2.4.3/tmp tmpfs defaults,users,size=300m,mode=777 0 0

I have to work with cron to clean amavis ... ?

I am afraid for other deferred message maybe when i am out of office

    Red face Help me

    i have done:
    su - zimbra
    tomcat stop

so i have all my service running except mailbox service that is stopped

    than i do

    tomcat start

and now i have client web access on my 443 port

Tomcat seems to stop running only for my 443 port instead 7071 and my admin web access is ok!

    what can i do?

    These problems are completely unrelated.

We don't use the tmpfs for amavis anymore, so don't worry about mounting it, you don't need it.

I read other posts about zimbra.log but my permissions are rights
when i do zmcontrol stop or start i don't see tomcat where has gone?
If i do tomcat stop or start i receive prompt without any response

    In the audit.log i don't find any error because i can't login on port 443;
only if i login in web access (after tomcat stop and tomcat start) i read in audit.log my activity but at this point is too late!!!
    what can i do?

I'm a little unclear on what your issues are. Can you please restate them?

    Hi
i pass from 4.02 to 4.5.1 but i have problem with web client access on port 443
In the morning when i arrive in office i can't access in client web access
In my browser i read that server is busy
But at the same time i can access to admin web access on port 7071
If i look for tomcat status i can't receive any notification at the prompt
The only think i can do is stop and start (tomcat o zmcontrol) and then i have client web access

First i try to find something in log but nothing
I pass from 1G Ram to 3G Ram but the problem persist
