End Users Email is showing up all on one line

Hi,

I have a user that gets certain emails from customers and it appears as if word wrap does not work. Other emails are fine.

Anyone else seen this problem?

Just for information, which browser and which rev of zimbra?

Firefox 2.0.0.1 and Zimbra 4.5.1.

Is this a Firefox-only issue, or does it occur on other browsers?

Also, does the email in question contain a very long line with no word breaks?

This appears to just be a Firefox issue. The line contains spaces and just shows up as one long sentence and does not wrap.

OK. We've got the client and we've got the affected version. Please file a bug in bugzilla and attach a copy of the message that's triggering this odd behavior. (To get a copy, right-click on the message in the message list, select "Show Original", and save the content to a file.)

Here is a sample email source where the message is all on one line. There should be some way in Zimbra to force a word-wrap.

If you look at the content of the email, you'll see the following:

           &=
nbsp;           &nbs=
p;            &=
nbsp;           &nbs=
p;            &=
nbsp;           &nbs=
p;            &=
nbsp;  

Those are nonbreaking spaces. Zimbra's expressly not allowed to wrap them. Unfortunately, that's what the sender of the email seemed to want!

(The longest line in the message determines the width of the window we use to display it...)
