I'm having some problems delivering mail with some attachments. It seems that things are getting hung up on convertd and causing me to have errors like

 451 4.0.0 Temporary message delivery failure try again (in reply to end of DATA command))

The end result is a bunch of queued up messages.

After researching the problem I found this wiki page

The wiki page's solution is to install the libstdc++ compatibility libraries. Both of these are installed so I'm not sure what else to do.

Is there anyway to remove convertd from the process and have my mail delivered? Or is there another solution to the problem?

Dunno, but have you found and looked in
/opt/zimbra/log/zmconvertd.log ? It might hold a clue.

What version of ZCS are you currently running?

If you are running 4.5 you may want to look at this bug:
