    Default Zimbra Deferred Mail

I have this new mail server on Ubuntu 6.10 and it looks to be set up correctly. I then create 2 mail boxes for two test users. When mail comes in it gets queued up for a few minutes then goes into deferred. when I log into the user email account I do not see anything, no mail comes in. Why dosnt mail go into the users queue?
    Thanks,

    -T

What's in the logs, any errors? Is sshd running? Firewall and SELinux (if you have it) disabled? Have you looked in the admin ui at the queue status? This has been vovered once or twice in the forums, did you search?
    Regards

I did a ls | grep deferred on the zimbra.log and here is what I got
    Code:
    Feb 13 12:22:45 mail postfix/qmgr[13047]: 28C501C478: to=<miXXXXX@mtgallagher.com>, relay=none, delay=0, status=deferred (delivery temporarily suspended: connect to mail.mtgallagher.com[69.244.178.55]: Connection timed out)
    sshd is running: 3974 ? Ss 0:00 /usr/sbin/sshd

Are you saying that sshd is running on port 3974? I assume that your server has correct DNS A & MX records set for it?

I do not have a connected DNS server but I do have a public DNS server that hosts my MX record. Here is the nslookup, set query = mx:
    Code:
    mtgallagher.com MX preference = 5, mail exchanger = mail.mtgallagher.com

    mtgallagher.com nameserver = ns1.no-ip.com
    mtgallagher.com nameserver = ns2.no-ip.com
    mtgallagher.com nameserver = ns3.no-ip.com
    mtgallagher.com nameserver = ns4.no-ip.com
    mtgallagher.com nameserver = ns5.no-ip.com
    mail.mtgallagher.com internet address = 69.244.178.55
    ns1.no-ip.com internet address = 216.66.37.13
    ns2.no-ip.com internet address = 204.16.252.6
    ns3.no-ip.com internet address = 63.208.74.226
    ns4.no-ip.com internet address = 198.65.102.15
    ns5.no-ip.com internet address = 212.100.249.200
I have a hosted MX record. Mail is comming in, just not being delievered to any accounts. I have attached a few snapshots
