zimbra & sunbird versus outlook

It sounds like if there is a requirement for read/write access to zimbra calendar data, your only option is MS Outlook right?

I see that Sunbird can only be read-only:

Are there plans for this in the future?

We plan on implementing CalDAV in the future. The enhancement is in the bugzilla. If you'd like us to work on this quicker, feel free to vote for it.
