PocketPC sync without outlook

Hello guys,

We are buying some pocket pc handhelds because of a project, so i'm reading about the zimbra connector.

I have a few questions that hopefully you guys may know the answer.

1) Can i buy a separate copy of the zimbra connector if i have the OS version?
2) We don't use outlook at work. Can i sync my pocketpc with the connector?

Ok. I'll buy a network license if i solve my problem of outlook.

We don't use outlook at all since the biggest benefit of zimbra is the webmail client.

Why don't sync'ing using an internet connection? Smth like avant2go.

You can always use IMAP to sync your mobile device. It's not an efficient solution and it won't sync your contacts or calendar, but it will get mail onto your mobile device.

I'm using RoadSync from Dataviz to be able to sync my mobile phone (Nokia 9300) with Zimbra NE (with Zimbra Mobile).

There seems to be a version for PocketPC

Thanks guys. I know i can use imap but the most thing i want on my pocket pc is calendar.

Zimbra mobile seems to be exactly what i need. Too bad it doesn't support my handheld.

As I wrote two messages ago, what you want is the couple "Zimbra Mobile" + "Dataviz' Roadsync".

You need additionnal licence for the handheld but it does just what you want.
It'll cost you less than NotifyLink anyway 8-/
