    Default message_size_limit not honored

    I had configured email limit to 60MB but even a 19MB attachment would not come trough and I was told by antispam admin "to increase pop3 timeout". I seriously do not understand what it had to do with SMTP in terms of attachment sending to zimbra.

    Code:
    $ postconf | grep message_size_limit
    message_size_limit = 62914560
    BTW, I had reloaded postfix after message_size_limit configuration.

    Any idea/tips would be appreciated

    I had checked that there's no "not enough free space in mail queue" in zimbra.log

    $ zmprov ms `zmhostname` zimbraFileUploadMaxSize 64424509440
    $ zmprov ms `zmhostname` zimbraMailContentMaxSize 64424509440
    $ zmprov mcf zimbraMtaMaxMessageSize 64424509440
    $ postfix reload

    $ zmprov gacf zimbraFileUploadMaxSize
    zimbraFileUploadMaxSize: 64424509440

    $ zmprov gacf zimbraMailContentMaxSize
    zimbraMailContentMaxSize: 64424509440

    Not entirely clear what you expected "postfix reload" to do.

    When you modify a variable, zmconfigd will update all of the pieces of software that must be updated for it to take effect. This is more than just postfix (clamav would be another).

    In any case, what you need to show is what your MTA logs on receiving the message. The email you got back from gmail is useless. Look in /var/log/zimbra.log for the reason(s) the email was rejected.
