    Question Server & SAN failure query

    Hi All,

    I ran ZCS 4.04 on RHEL4 connected to a san mounted in /SAN.
    So i linked /opt/zimbra -> /SAN/zimbra & all worked well.

    As a test I destroyed the server rebuilt it and linked
    /opt/zimbra -> /SAN/zimbra again & all worked well (ie zimbra started)

    When I try this with ZCS 4.5 the ldap precess start failed, so i
    set the owner /SAN/zimbra to zimbra:zimbra (recursive) and ldap started
    but the mta failed.

    Can you let me know the correct default permissions for all the zimbra files
    so i can reconnect a server to the SAN in the event of a disaster?

    TIA,
    Padraig.

    There's a script in the ~/libexec directory called 'zmfixperms', that should do what you need.

    Appears the log4j config file isn't complete. Did you try a:

    zmcontrol mailbox stop
    zmcontrol mailbox start
