    Default Font size/spacing overrides

    Hi,

    Having just upgraded to a new version of Zimbra I am facing some complaints from my users about formatting that I think I can easily remedy.

    1. Excessive vertical spacing in the folder list making the folder list huge. I want to rectify by changing the 'height' parameters for the relevant .DwtTreeItem fields in the CSS. Where's the best place to make this change?

    2. Tiny tiny fonts on 'plain' html messages (i.e. html messages with no stylesheet or inline styles, that just start off head... body... message text)
    This seems to be set via an inline stylesheet delivering the .MsgBody CSS field which sets the text size. I guess Zimbra is supplying some internal styles to sensibly display the message. Any idea where best to change that?

    I've tested both the changes in firefox using DomInspector and I don't see that any problems will be created in the UI.

    Thanks

    Default

    Solving 1:

    sudo -
    sudo - zimbra
    vi ./skins/_base/base/skin.properties
    * now change TreeItemHeight *
    zmcontrol restart

    Ahhh there's about five of them

    Replace TreeItemHeight wherever you find it, in the multiple skin.properties files

    Solving 2:

    * I deleted a load of stuff from here because it really mangles the UI *

    FontSize-html = font-size:14pt;

    in all the skin.properties files

    Actually revert those changes and change only

    FontSize-html = font-size:13pt;

    line

    Also change

    MailMsgBodyText-fixed = @FontFamily-default@

    So that plaintext emails get displayed in a normal font instead of Courier.
