Default Collecting mail when out and about

One of our users is trying to log on with a browser to readmail via

https://212.xxx.xx.xx:7071/zimbra/name and her password where 212.xxx is our external IP address for the Zimbra server

But she is not getting in - are we using something odd in settings somewhere?

her user profile is allowed remote access

Why your user is trying to log in to Admin console(guessing by the port) but the URL that follows is wrong for admin panel.Anyways, simply try https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xx

Thank you - so that brings up a user name and password field?

And is there an obvious set of settings for IMAP on Thunderbird? Presume local LAN and remote differ?
