Default Zimbra (Read-error on swap device)

    Hello Zimbra Geeks,

In my exiting infrastructure, Win 2008 Server + hyper v installed. In hyper v, we have installed zimbra with release 8.0.4.GA.5737.UBUNTU12.64.

Zimbra is working and all services of zimbra are running.

    Problem:-
Sometime, there is an I/O error; read-erorr on swap device; screenshot attached same.

So i have reboot zimbra server manually and after rebooting server this problem gone again but after couple of day i am facing same problem.

Please guide me permanent solution for this.

    Highly appriciated

This is not currently a supported environment for Zimbra.

This is not a Zimbra problem, I'd suggest you ask this question on a Hyper-V or Ubuntu support forum.

At The Big Social this week Zimbra staff reported that virtualized Zimbra is now officially supported on VMware, Xen and KVM.

Problem #2 is that Ubuntu 12.04 is not a supported guest OS on 2008 Hyper-V.

So, first thing to do is you'll need a 2012 Hyper-V Server, and even then you will only get "best efforts" support from Zimbra.

    Hope that helps,
    Mark
