    Default Email Received Problem after installing Fresh ZCS in Ubuntu 12.04

    Greetings...

    I'm a newbie in this linux environment, but I'm willing to explore more about it, and I'm having a problem after installing ZCS in my server.

    The big question is : Why I can sent email to other email address in internet (yahoo.com, gmail.com, privatecompany.com) while it doesn't well with received? Is there something wrong with mya configuration?

    I've been followed the instruction form [HTML=http://ubuntuserverguide.com/2013/01/how-to-setup-zimbra-collaboration-suite-open-source-edition-8-0-2-in-ubuntu-server-12-04.html]here[/HTML]

    This is my configuration so far :

    /etc/network/interfaces
    Code:
    auto lo
    iface lo inet loopback
    auto eth0
    iface eth0 inet static
            address 192.169.169.2
            netmask 255.255.255.248
            network 192.169.169.0
            broadcast 192.169.169.8
            gateway 192.169.169.1
            dns-nameservers 127.0.0.1 192.169.169.2 8.8.8.8
            dns-search mail.mydomain.net
    /etc/bind/named.conf.options
    Code:
    options {
            directory "/var/cache/bind";

            // If there is a firewall between you and nameservers you want
            // to talk to, you may need to fix the firewall to allow multiple
            // ports to talk. See http://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/800113

            // If your ISP provided one or more IP addresses for stable
            // nameservers, you probably want to use them as forwarders.
            // Uncomment the following block, and insert the addresses replacing
            // the all-0's placeholder.

    // forwarders {
    //      8.8.8.8;
    // };

            //========================================================================

    When I run Zimbra Web Client it's runs well, same thing with when I adding and deleting user in Zimbra Admin Consol.
    But why I can't receive any emails from others?
    Am I missing something here?

    Thanks in advance

    PS : Forgive me with all the "bad" sentence, I'm from the country where English isn't our native language

    What you should do is follow the instructions in the Zimbra documentation and the instructions from the wiki Split DNS article. The instructions in that article are incorrect, you shouyldn't use nslook as it can give incorrect answer to your queries - go to the Split DNS article and post the output of all the commands in that article. I think it's preferable to use the DNS root servers as forwarders not the google ones. Do you have a firewall in front of this server? Have you opened the correct ports in your router and firewall (if you have one)? Do you have a real domain name registered with DNS A & MX records configured?
    Regards
