Default How to shut down DKIM daemon offered by Zimbra

    Hi Fellas,

I have installed separate opendkim application on zimbra and wanted to know if I can stop the DKIM service which zimbra offers. zmopendkimctl stop is the option available but can I disable it forever so that I can integrate with opendkim daemon installed separately.

You don't need to disable it, just remove the DNS records as mentioned in the wiki article. As they're the same product, what advantage do you think the openDKIM daemon offers that the integrated openDKIM doesn't?

Well, I have a separate mail gateway which offers DKIM already since the outbound mails are being routed through that gateway I don't want zimbra to sign the mails instead let the Gateway sign the mails. OR even I have other As application which can be installed on zimbra server itself which will do the AS/AV things hence planning to shutdown AS/AV services offered by Zimbra and have DKIM provided by that application hence I need to shut down the DKIM by zimbra.

    OK. As I've already said:

That's assuming you had the Zimbra openDKIM signing your mail. Thinking about it, you should also remove the LDAP entry as well as the DNS records (that's also mentioned in the wiki article).
