    Default Ziimbra bulk delete

    I must to delete more than 100 account.

    I read that "zmprov da" doesn't delete email file neither attachment.
    Is it true?

    If yes:
    zmmailbox ... emptyFolder /<folder name>

    seem to do what I need, but a lot of my users created some root folder (/<custom folder>) so it is not so simple to do the work.
    There is somewhere a script that do getAllFolders parsing?

    Thank you.

    Where did you read that?

    Not as far as I know., removing an account removes the email - it wouldn't make sense to leave the mail on the server when the account has been removed.

    Here

    "Our IDM solution is running the zmprov da on our main LDAP server which results in account removal but not removal of the mail."

    but I read too fast.. my fault.

    Thank you very much!

    But..

    If I do:
    Code:
    zmprov da <account>
    all is ok.

    If I do like this:
    Code:
    for a in `cat /tmp/accounts`; do echo "Deleting $a"; zmprov da $a; done;
    I have an error:

    )RROR: account.NO_SUCH_ACCOUNT (no such account: <account>

    What is the problem?
    Thanks for your help.

    Not really, you haven't given any details about what's happened i.e. did any of the accounts get deleted; which account is causing the problem etc.? The error message you've posted means that it can't find one fo the accounts in your list so some more details from you would be helpful.
    Regards

    all the accounts in the file

    I don't know how I can explain myself in a different way...

    If I do:

    zmprov da <account>

    all is ok (the account is delete).

    If I put in 'accounts.txt' file:

    <account 1>
    <account 2>
    ...
    <account n>

    and I do:

    for a in `cat accounts.txt`; do zmprov da $a; done;

    I have the "account.NO_SUCH_ACCOUNT" error, and none of the accounts are delete.
