Default External Emai send and receive Issues

    Hi,

I'm new with Zimbra and have setup the open source version on an Ubuntu LTS 12.4 VM. The install was completed and I was able to create a user and connect to the mail server using Outlook 2010. Email sending and receiving is ok within the doman but my email client cannot either send or receive email to and from the internet (gmail or other private networks/domains). Can somebody please help me on resolving the issue please.

    Thank you in advance.

Have you looked at any of the other forums threads that answer this question? Have you configured a Split DNS (you need on if you're behind a NAT router)? If you configured Split DNS then post some diagnostic information to confirm it's configured correctly. Have you looked in the log files for the exact errors (search the wiki or the forums for details of the log file details).
    Regards

    Hi Phoenix,

Thanks for your reply. Yes I have setup a split DNS on my server and attached some diagnostics below.

You should post the output of all the commands in the 'Verify....' section of the Split DNS article and you should cut and paste the output not post screen shots, they are unreadable. I assume you mean you've installed ZCS on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS not 12.4 LTS? There are at least two errors in the log file output, search the forums for those errors, they have been covered (and answered) before.
    Regards
