    Default Rejected messages due to spam

    Hi All

    We have a customer running Release 7.1.4_GA_2555.UBUNTU10_64 UBUNTU10_64 NETWORK edition. They have some customers that are emailing but the emails are not arriving from gmail. amavis[2094]: (02094-07) Blocked SPAM, [74.125.82.51] [31.82.160.58]

    The customer want's to get these emails which are not showing in spam but are just being rejected

    The customer has asked us to disable the system so the email won't get rejected. We have disabled the antispam service and restarted but the email is still being rejected.

    Can anyone shed any light on this please

    I would have though the best course of action would be to determine why the email is being rejected, what does it say in the log files? Has this just started happening?

    Hi Bill

    The inbound email is coming from 1 of the gmail servers. Doing a look online, it looks like the server has been blacklisted so was guessing this was the cause.

    The only message in the log is the Blocked SPAM by amavis

    I would have thoughtthat if it's on a blacklist that it would (possibly/eventually) be on an RBL, why don't you just temporarily whitelist that server (check the wiki for details)?
