Default Forwarding copies of all sent and received messages to one inbox

In our deployment, we're looking to forward copies of all sent and received messages from our intranet to one server. I know Zimbra NE allows for e-discovery and such but we've been looking for options in the event our budget for this year doesn't allow for it.

Essentially, we'd have one Zimbra account that would only be accessible to administrators and all emails sent and received by staff accounts would be mirrored to that catch-all account for future review if necessary.

Does Zimbra's Open Source edition allow for this? I'm about to fire up a VM and try it out myself but thought I'd reach out to the pros here as well.

    Thanks in advance!

Have you considered using an open source archiving solution? Have you considered using MxHero as a front-end? Have you looked at any of the other threads (or wiki articles) on this subject?
    Regards

I had considered open-source archiving but I was just curious if that type of catch-all functionality was already baked into Zimbra Open Source since our needs are quite simple. Thanks for mentioning MxHero also, I'll look into that more.

Underneath the sophisticated exterior ZCS is a Postfix MTA, anything you can do with that you can do in the ZCS implementation, look at always_bcc or the Legal Intercept feature of ZCS. As I also mentioned, there are several threads on this topic in the forums if you want take a look at how other people solve the problem.

Postfix BCC MAPS incorrect work with ZCS 8
    Incorrect work of postfix bcc_maps
