    Default filtered port 25 on wan2

    Hi everyone,

    I've installed zimbra since one year in production environment, I've the zimbra 7.1.4_GA_2555.UBUNTU10_64 UBUNTU10_64 FOSS edition.
    That's a very very good!

    Now I've added a new WAN connection to balance traffic, my network is

    WAN1 (IP_WAN1) ---> FIREWALL --->LAN--->ZIMBRA SERVER
    WAN2 (IP_WAN2) ---> FIREWALL --->LAN--->ZIMBRA SERVER

    On firewall i've two NAT RULES for Smtp

    IP_WAN1:25 ----> Zimbra_Server:25
    IP_WAN2:25 ----> Zimbra_Server:25

    But when I try to acces from remote, for example by nmaI get this situation:

    nmap on IP_WAN1

    ...
    25/tcp open smtp
    ...

    but when i try to access by nmap IP_WAN2

    ...
    25/tcp filtered smtp
    ...

    I've installed a second wan connection to have a failover by mx priority as:

    IN MX 10 mail.mydomain.xy
    IN MX 20 mail2.mydomain.xy

    Please help me..

    thank you ..

    This isn't a Zimbra problem, it looks like you have something filtering port 25 - I'd suggest you investigate that.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply..

    If i try to change NAT rule on other standard postfix ... it' all open ... as
    ...
    25/tcp open smtp
    ...

    Only zimbra filter the 25 port..

    Are there any block by zimbra as permit_mynetworks or similar?

    Thank you
