    Specifically, you want to do:

    Code:
    zmprov ms <mta server FQDN> +zimbraServiceEnabled cbpolicyd
    zmlocalconfig -e cbpolicyd_module_checkspf=1
In 2 minutes or less, zmconfigd will automatically initialize and enable cbpolicyd, and enable SPF checking.

Did that, but in cbpolicyd.log there is an error
    Code:

And message if i'm trying to send an email to any address (gmail or whatever)
    Code:

Where to dig?! I hate those spam emails from "kind of" local addresses

This would indicate what I feared -- Your cbpolicyd DB was not initialized correctly.

Try the following as the Zimbra user:

    Code:
    zmcbpolicydctl stop
    cd /opt/zimbra/data/cbpolicyd/db
    mkdir back
    mv * back
    cd
    /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmcbpolicydinit
    zmcbpolicydctl start
That will re-initialize the DB from scratch.

    Yeah, that's bad... ls -l /opt/zimbra/cbpolicyd/share/database/convert-sql

It should be executable by world.

For example, on my 8.0.4 install:

    Code:
    -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 3527 Apr 11 09:41 /opt/zimbra/cbpolicyd/share/database/convert-tsql

Intereseting - on my 12.04 setup it is
    Code:
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3474 apr 30 2012 /opt/zimbra/cbpolicyd/share/database/convert-tsql
Will change to 755 and see if zmcbpolicydinit work as expected.
    Thnx quanah for your help
    Update:
    Code:
     /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmcbpolicydinit
Converting policyd database templates to sqlite...done.
    Creating sqlite database...done.
    zimbra@mail:~/data/cbpolicyd/db$ ls
    cbpolicyd.sqlitedb cbpolicyd.sqlitedb.sq3
Will try to enable cbpolicy again later at the evening

cbpolicy starts ar works as it should... but how can i see that SPF check is made?!
Mail headers doesnt show any marks of SPF checks.
Gmail headers, for example, has a mark of SPF checks:
    Code:
    Received-SPF: pass

    Hello,

thank you for your accurate advice and efforts.

I know this is not a fresh thread.
Anyway, speaking about headers, I cannot see any difference before and after enabling SPF check via cbpolicyd on Zimbra 8.0.3_GA_5664.FOSS.

    Am I missing something?
    Thank you
