    Default CentOS5-64/ZCS7.1.3 upgrade to CentOS6-64/ZCS 8

    If I want to upgrade
    Release 7.1.3_GA_3346.RHEL5_64_20110928134520 CentOS5_64 FOSS edition.
to CentOS6 & Latest Zimbra 8, can I use the (easier) 'migrate to new server with same operating system' instructions or (longer) the 32 to 64-bit backup/restore LDAP etc. instructions?

    ofc I'll go first:
    CentOS6 with ZCS 7.1.3
and then upgrade to Zimbra 8, but to transefr from CentOS5 to CentOS6, is that considered a different operating system?

Yes, CentOS6 is an entirely different OS than CentOS5. Personally I would recommend you move to ZCS 7.2.4 first, and then transfer everything across.
