retrieve messages from mail hosting company we already have?

We have a external mail hosting company right now. We have zimbra setup and working internally. How could we go about setting zimbra up so we can still use our external mail company but the message pass through there and come to our internal zimbra server. We want to do it this way as like a precheck of the mail for spam and such that they have. So basically mail would be getting checked again when it comes into zimbra.

That depends on your hosting company, They most likely have a facility to forward it to another smtp server or 'smart host', check out your features or check with their support. Alternatively you could use fetchmail to get mail on schedule or the POP retrieval feature in the new Zimbra 4.5

Ok thats what we thought. Yep we have the latest 4.5 running.
