I noticed that the Anti-virus and anti-SPAM scanning was eating alot of my server resources.

I'm getting alot of messages addresses to people who have left the company or invalid email addresses. These are normally rejected before any scanning takes places.

However, if you have any aliases, those are accepted to the queue, scanned, and then bounced.
