Instant Messaging / Peer to Peer Chat

Is peer to peer chat available in the opensource release ? If so, can someone point me in the right direction. I'd like to give our users the ability to see who is online, and initiate chat sessions between themselves or between multiple users.

Yes, it's available but it's a very early beta. Search the forums for the command to enable it.

able to get it working eg. chatting on 4.0.4 NE previosly..
